"The single most important decision in evaluating a business is pricing power." Warren Buffet
Value-based pricing is about charging what the customer will pay.
Things to Consider:
A brand's price and image are often closely linked.
Align your pricing strategy to your companies strategy and vision.
Be in tune with your business and financial objectives.
Pricing is not a competitive advantage.
Differentiation creates value. How do you create value by closing gaps and solving problems?

Consistency is key!
Last month I had a chance to meet Kirk Franklin. On the way to the event I was pondering what is the one selfish question I can ask him. That question not relevant to gospel music, but something beneficial to me and my audience. I am grateful for the personal and entrepreneurial growth through the years yet developing a team has been one of the most challenging hurdles I’ve experienced. I know the only way I can grow into this vision is by continuous faith, consistency, and teamwork. In this episode you’ll learn:
Transcription
I appreciate everything you’ve done. I think you are a musical genius. You’ve worked with artist from different genres, multiple choirs; how do you create a good team and motivate that team through each project?
Kirk Franklin: By trying to be transparent and non trying to act like I have all the answers. Finding people willing to go through the journey with me. I appreciate people that ride with me and take a chance. A lot of it is risk tasking.
In this episode I give an update as to what has been going on with me. A glimpse into my world. The work, the breaks, and what's next.

On Friday, March 11, 2016, I drove to Austin to meet Gary Vaynerchuk aka Gary Vee. If you are a late bloomer his new book #AskGaryVee is derived from his self-titled YouTube show. I had one burning question pertaining to my business and the direction of my business. On the last minute I recorded the audio on my phone and take a chance of turning it into a podcast.
Question: Recently I've changed my marketing company from focusing on account management to training and development because I'm realizing small business owners they don't want to focus on content marketing and with social media the focus on live video, video, and images. I feel that the small business owner has to do that (content) themselves versus outsourcing it. With that in mind, do you feel that business owners are going to continue to outsource social media management or will they create it in-house?
Here's what I think, they both will stay. Both are options. Both will happen, but it comes down to chops. I think what's great about hearing what you're doing it's no different than Meerkat. You need to decide for yourself what you're best at. Are you best at giving advice to freeing people up? Best at motivating? Best at teaching? Current events? Maybe create a newsletter at $25 a month that just tells people what's going on , that's scalable to a bigger business.
